2021 is here. Finally! WELCOME... AND Goodbye 2020, so long, arrivederce, au revoir, sayonara, adios, and don't come 'round here again!
So how to start a new year with hope, happiness, and a heart full of aspirations after a year that tried to crush all things good and human? I suppose the best course of action is to set intentions. These could represent anything that means something to you. It isn't work goals, weight loss, or the time management promises we make to ourselves at the start of each year. Setting intentions helps you see the bigger picture while at the same time narrowing down what you would like to manifest in your life.
Think on what you'll accept, how you will respond, who will stay in your life, who has to go, and the elusive - but meaningful - things that could and would make you happy, or at least content. Set an intention based on any or all of these suggestions and stick to it. It will become your invisible map when lines get blurred, boundaries are crossed, stress starts mounting. Go back to the intention(s) you set and revisit the what, how, who, and elusive items; these are dots on your map to show you where you are in your journey. Are they lined up? Are you on the wrong block or in the wrong state? Adjust by remembering and resetting.
I realize this takes practice, and some of you are wondering what the heck I'm talking about. I ask that you try it and appreciate it as a way to make your daily experiences Better Brighter and Easier. No one knows what is ahead. Much of the past year was beyond our control or agreement throwing everything at us but the kitchen sink. By setting intentions, at least we can start off with a clearly defined guide that will become handy when you need it most in 2021. ~ All my best today and everyday, Luci
