This week I saw the actor, William Shatner, being interviewed about his 90+ year birthday. He was asked a question about his approach to life. He responded by saying that every day he wakes up, he knows he has one day less to live. With this realization, he works to make today his best day, and he does this every day. He listed the things that make his days worth living, like horseback riding, reading, gardening, socializing, etc.
At 90+, I'd say he has seen a lot, knows a few things, and has had time to assess his life, as well as, the idea of life's meaning as a whole. Shatner's approach isn't just philosophical, it's practical, simple, doable, and a mindful choice that offers incalculable benefits.
Make today ridiculously amazing! ~ Love, Luci
